1. Security Officer (1 post)
Vizara Plantations Limited, situated some 10 km away from Chintheche turn off (M5 Road) invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the vacant position of Security Officer. Reporting to the General Manager, the candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day Security matters respectively and other assigned duties. Candidates should have the following criteria.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least a Diploma in Security Studies
Having worked in Malawi Police Service for at least 10yeas in active duty
Should be well conversant with Malawi Police Laws
Presently working in a reputable company as a Security Officer with a minimum of 5years experience
Aged between 30 and 40
Should have no criminal records
Should be physically and mentally fit
Should have a valid National ID
Excellent in written and oral communication skills
Should have a driving licence for motorcycle code A/ A1

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES These shall include but not limited to;
Organize and train security guards
Detect crime on the Estate/ company premises
Instill discipline into the security guards
Conduct day and night patrols
Conducting forest and boundaries patrols
Attend to day to day deployment of security guards and ensuring timekeeping among security guards.
Conducting security meetings with all heads of department regularly
Submission of written weekly reports to the General Manager
Liaisoning with police officers
REMUNERATIONS
Remuneration will be in line with the experience and suitability of the candidate.
