The Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA), an organization entrusted with the assessment, collection, and accounting for tax revenues for the Malawi Government is inviting applications from versatile and suitably qualified candidates to fill the above vacant position(s).
Overall Objective
Operating and monitoring the CCTV system in accordance with the Authority’s Code of Conduct and other guidelines and procedures
Main Responsibilities
Ensuring security and safety of buildings and personnel.
Undertaking operation of all equipment and CCTV cameras.
Effectively managing and or operating Biometric Access Control System.
Effectively monitoring and patroling via view screens and take any remedial or immediate action
Carrying out regular equipment checks and report all equipment faults to the Security Services Coordinator.
Monitoring and assisting where possible the security staff in the detention of any person found committing an arrestable offence.
Ensuring the security of the Control Room and all equipment.
Submitting monthly reports
Qualification and Experience
A minimum of Bachelors Degree in Security Management or Bachelors in ICT Electonics
Applicants possessing Certification in CCTV Operations or surveillance will have an added advantage

Successful candidates before being appointed will undergo an extensive background check of their integrity. Only when the vetting exercise is favourable shall the Authority make the appointment.
