WHO WE ARE
Nkhamenya Community Hospital is a Catholic Health Facility of Mzuzu Diocese. It operates under the Health Commission of the Diocese whose mandate is to ensure that the services that the Catholic Church provides in the Diocese are accessible to the rural masses and the quality of care being provided is line with the professional standards and in the footsteps of Jesus Christ the founder of the healing ministry.
In its efforts of ensuring provision of quality health services, the hospital would like to recruit the following position;
HOSPITAL DRIVER ( N )
Applicants for above post should have the following
Be a practicing Christian.
The candidate should possess a full M.S.C.E.
Candidate should have valid CI Driver’s License with PG Category
Possession of a Motor Vehicle Mechanical certificate will be an added advantage
A candidate should have at least 2 to 5 years’ experience.
A candidate should have a good traceable record.
Posses good communication and interpersonal skills.
A successful candidate will be on a contract of 3 years which will be renewed depending on the performance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Checking water, oil, fuel levels every morning before taking off.
Checking tires, tire pressure every morning before taking off and when necessary.
Courteously and professionally driving staff members to outreach clinics on designated days.
Courteously and professionally driving patients referred to other hospitals.
Courteously and professionally driving staff members on duty / hospital business.
Duty records opening and closing mileages after every trip.
Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle both inside and outside at all the times.
Observing expiry of C.O.F, Insurance and report to Administration one week before due date,
Ensuring that the vehicle is driven by only authorized personnel as directed by administration.
Ensuring the vehicle is driven within the speed limit of not above 100 KMPH as directed by the Diocese.
Ensuring that spare wheel, jack and tool box are always in the car and functioning.
RENUMERATION
A competitive remuneration package in line with Government of Malawi Salary Scale will be offered to successful candidates.
