Job Overview
The Bar Supervisor will oversee daily bar operations, manage staff performance, maintain beverage quality standards, and ensure excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on bar experience, and the ability to operate effectively in a busy hospitality environment.
The Role
• Supervise and coordinate bar staff for smooth operations.
• Train, mentor, and schedule bartenders and bar attendants.
• Ensure all drinks are prepared according to company standards.
• Monitor inventory, place orders, and manage stock levels.
• Maintain high hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
• Prepare daily sales summaries and support cash management.
• Ensure compliance with bar policies, licensing laws, and health regulations.
• Support bar promotions, special events, and menu updates.
Qualifications and Skills
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in bar operations, including supervisory or senior bartender roles.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and bar equipment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage high-volume service.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Presentable and professional appearance.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certification in bartending or hospitality management.
• Experience with inventory management systems and POS software.
• Ability to create or recommend new cocktail recipes.
