ACG has been engaged to hire on behalf of its client, a diversified farm located in Namwera, Mangochi, for the position of Farm Tractor Operator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate farm tractors and other agricultural machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of tractors and farm equipment.
- Assist in land preparation, plowing, planting, and other field operations as directed by the farm management.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of fuels and lubricants.
- Maintain accurate records of machinery usage, maintenance, and work performed.
- Report any mechanical issues or operational challenges promptly to the farm supervisor.

- Good physical stamina to handle farm operations.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a farm operations team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive in identifying machinery issues.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating tractors and farm machinery is preferred.
- Basic mechanical skills for minor repairs and routine maintenance.
- Knowledge of agricultural practices and safety standards is an advantage.
- Valid driving license for agricultural vehicles is desirable.
