PRODUCTION / OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
Location: Blantyre
OVERVIEW
Harry Adamson Food & Beverage Industries is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production / Operations Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with day-to-day production operations for consumer food products (ketchup, sauces, jams, vinegars, spices, etc).
• Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment.
• Use scientific testing apparatus and conduct quality checks:
pH Testing
Acidity Testing
Brix/Sugar Content
Viscosity Testing
Moisture Content Analysis
• Record production/testing data accurately.
• Work with electronic systems for production tracking.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and GMP standards.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2+ years experience in food processing or similar environments.
• Ability to use scientific testing instruments.
• Computer literate and able to use electronic/digital systems.
• Knowledge and understanding of MBS Standards.
• Proficient in English.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
