Lilongwe Pentecostal Church Christian School (LPCCS) is a well-established institution registered with the Government of Malawi and licensed by the Ministry of Education. LPCCS follows the government academic calendar and is fully compliant with the national curriculum provided by the Malawi Institute of Education under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. The school is founded on Christian faith values, while equally welcoming learners from diverse religious backgrounds.
LPCCS is inviting suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of:
Position: DRIVER
Reporting to: Human Resource and Administration Officer
Duty Station: Lilongwe
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
Adhering to LPCCS Vehicle Policy and all applicable laws.
Recording all vehicle mileage and trip purposes in the vehicle register logbook.
Monitoring and ensuring validity of insurance, and certificate of fitness.
Cleaning and maintaining LPCCS vehicles to required standards
Conducting routine vehicle checks including water, engine oil, tyres, vehicle tools, fire extinguishers, and first aid kit.
Safely driving learners from their homes to school and from school back home on time.
Qualifications & Requirements
Interested candidates must possess the following:
Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
Valid Driver’s License (Class C1).
Defensive Driving Certificate (an added advantage).
At least two (2) years of proven driving experience with a clean driving record.
Good command of English (spoken and written).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, disciplined, and well organized.
Well-groomed, presentable, and professional.
